Summary
Marissa comes to Sponsored Projects with over six years of research experience from multiple points of view. She started as a student worker at the University of Nevada, Reno as a lab assistant and after graduation she transitioned to clinical research in cancer at a local CRO. Later, she progressed to clinical laboratory work in toxicology, and most recently, managed clinical trial projects for both human and animal studies. Currently, she has taken on the role of a pre-award research administrator at the University for the college of science. In this capacity, Marissa is involved in the pre-award phase of research projects, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of research processes to facilitate successful grant applications
