Summary
I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a B.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Economics with minors in Business Analytics and Military Science. I have held numerous leadership roles in the U.S. Nevada Army National Guard, U.S. Army ROTC, the Nevada Military Society and the student-led Nevada Student Investment Organization. My path was not as clear as it seems to be as I was initially pursuing a Neuroscience major at the University and have since completed two-year’s worth of coursework, but ultimately decided that I wanted to help individuals and their families in another type of pandemic that the country is facing, financial illiteracy. Since my 180-degree pivot towards the business and wealth management career field, I have since passed the following finance industry licensing exams; FINRA SIE, Series 63 and Series 65. Today, I am currently employed at a North American wealth and investment management firm, WhittierTrust, where I am a Client Advisor - Associate. I am currently pursuing the CFA Institute's, CFA designation as a CFA Level I candidate, the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation and the American Bankers Associations' – CTFA (Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor) designation
