About year-end gifts

The end of the calendar year is a time when many people make charitable gifts and take advantage of the tax benefits of doing so. A gift before December 31 can benefit you by reducing your income taxes while providing meaningful support for the University.

Alternative operations due to COVID-19

Members of the University's development staff will be in the office during the holidays to answer questions about making a gift before 2020 closes, unless the office is following alternative operations.

Email and phone messages to giving@unr.edu and (775) 784-1587 will be monitored.

Gift receipts are typically sent within 7-10 days from the date the gift was processed, but may be delayed under alternative operations.
