Artist's statement
My work is a project that explores the conflicting ethnographic stories of the Nigerian point of view. I am an artist who is interested in anthropology, whose research highlights the Nigerian untold historical events and occurrences that has shaped a people’s contemporary cultures. I travel to different communities for my research, making inquiries and asking questions about the past events that occurred in those various ethnicities, and how it has impacted their present culture and practices.
