The Honors Experience

We are excited to invite you to our fourth annual Nevada Honors Experience event on Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

In the spirit of NevadaBound, this will be a chance for you to visit campus, talk with representatives from every academic college, hear from our President and Dean, and get to know us in a way that can only come by being physically present. The focus of this day is to introduce you to academic faculty teaching Honors sections and introduce you to the dedicated people of our Honors College. Our College has several unique features that have contributed to our recent growth. 

• Flexibility in curriculum intended to help your students find the educational path that fits them best. We have three pathways that allow students to enjoy an honors experience at any point in their undergraduate career.
• Opportunities for leadership within the Honors College and across campus.
• Honors students take classes in their desired major so that we are not adding extra work.
• Curriculum closely tied to our mission pillars which are Resilience, Integrity, Stewardship, and Equity.
• A committed campus, alumni, parent club, and community ready to support each student.

In the event you are unable to attend we will be holding infosessions for specific populations of students this fall and spring.
