Western Regional Graduate Program
The Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP) is a tuition-savings program that makes out-of-state graduate studies more affordable for students. Through WRGP, you will receive a reduced tuition rate, giving you more educational options for your money. Currently, the WRGP tuition rate for students accepted into this program is 100% of the in-state tuition rate, i.e. students are paying the same tuition rate as Nevada residents.
The WRGP is an agreement among WICHE’s 16 member states, through which participating Western public universities allow residents of WICHE states to only pay in-state tuition when attending select graduate certificate, master’s, and doctoral programs. For WICHE students of WRGP programs, the out-of-state tuition is waived.
WRGP benefits may be used for a maximum of three (3) years for master’s degree students and five (5) years for doctoral degree students.
If you are admitted to a participating WRGP degree program, meet the WRGP criteria and are interested in applying to the WRGP program, please complete the WRGP form. You will receive an email about your WRGP status within five-to-seven (5-7) business days from submitting the form.
