The Office of Admissions and Records verifies student enrollment status and the University of Nevada, Reno and the Nevada System of Higher Education have authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide enrollment verifications.
Enrollment verification does not include your grades or courses taken while enrolled as a student at the University of Nevada, Reno. If you require that information, you must request a transcript. Instead, enrollment verification includes the following information:
- Enrollment status (i.e., half-time, full-time, less-than-halftime)
- Term start and end dates
|Student type||Full-time credit hours||Half-time credit hours||Less than half-time credit hours|
|Undergraduate||12+||6 - 8||1 - 5|
|Graduate||9+||5 - 6||1 - 4|
Enrollment verification ordering process
The Office of Admissions and Records uses a self-service system that allows current students to obtain an enrollment certificate that verifies their current or past-term enrollment. An active NetID and valid password are required to use this service.
