Taya Kohnen received her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus with an emphasis in health systems, management and policy. In this role she developed internal data-driven processes to improve the delivery of clinical primary care services. She also worked closely with Colorado Medicaid and other private payors to ensure the implementation of best practices and a patient-centered care model. After three months there, she took a job at a local NGO, Kosovo Women’s Network, where she researched and co-authored a report about available funding for women’s civil society organizations in the Western Balkans.
