Public Health Coalition

The mission of the Public Health Coalition of University of Nevada, Reno is to enrich lives through community service, to spread awareness and knowledge of health within the community, to strengthen and expand philanthropic service to others, and to promote healthy lifestyles to enhance the lives of those within the community.

Graduate Society of Public Health

The Graduate Society of Public Health is comprised of MPH students, including first year, second year and graduate special students. The Graduate Society of Public Health meets to discuss issues related to our graduate students in the MPH program at the University of Nevada, Reno. Meetings often feature guest lectures, promote networking, and provide support for graduate students within the MPH program.

The purpose of the Graduate Society of Public Health includes the following:

  • To provide support and guidance to students within the MPH program
  • To help graduates gain networking opportunities
  • To inform students about internships and careers in public health
  • To promote community service
