Summary

Phil is a Certified Athletic Trainer and a full-time lecturer in the School of Public Health. He has over 20 years of experience working with high school, collegiate and professional athletes. Drawing from his experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer and former University of Nevada student-athlete, Phil’s research interest is in the areas of head injury prevention and virtual reality applications for concussion evaluation procedures. He holds a B.S. from the University of Nevada, Reno in Health Sciences, an M.S. from the California University of Pennsylvania in Exercise Science, and is currently a Ph.D. student in the Integrative Neuroscience Program at the University of Nevada, Reno.
