Conservation biology research

Faculty in the Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Science have strong interests in the area of conservation biology and engage in a diversity of field and laboratory research that supports the conservation and management of plants, animals, and their interactions in natural and human-altered landscapes. This research is conducted locally, nationally and internationally to develop strategies that maintain biodiversity and sustainable use of natural resources.
