Environmental Science Research

Faculty in the Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Science have strong research interests and expertise in the physical, chemical and biological conditions of the environment and their effects on organisms. Research projects emphasize the study of environmental processes including local, regional and global cycles of water, soil nutrients and toxic contaminants, as well as the fate and transport of substances in the environment. In addition, department faculty are interested in socially relevant implications of these processes.
