The Fluorescence-Activated Cell Sorting/Flow Cytometry Shared Resource Laboratory (FACS/FCMSRL) is a state-of-the-art facility providing analytical fluorescence-based flow cytometry and cell sorting. It serves investigators from laboratories in the University of Nevada School of Medicine and the University of Nevada, Reno, in addition to other public and private laboratories in the area.

Single Cell Molecular Expression Core (SCME) (COBRE Core C)

The Single Cell Molecular Expression Core (SCME) provides investigators and other researchers in the Nevada System of Higher Education with automated single cell capture, quantitative PCR assays and targeted template enrichment, small noncoding RNA deep sequencing (sncRNA-Seq) or targeted DNA deep sequencing, ribosome profiling, gene of interest manipulation using ZFN’s, TALEN’s and CRISPR/Cas9 technologies, assistance in the design, execution and analysis of next generation deep sequencing, and genome editing experiments.
