Research Interests

Theoretical plasma and atomic physics; modeling of radiation from HED Z-pinch, ultrashort-pulse laser, and Tokamak plasmas, astrophysical plasmas, and from Electron Beam Ion Trap; theory of line polarization and modeling of polarized spectra produced by different radiation sources; theoretical study of Z-pinch plasma implosions through extensive computations: development of models and codes to understand plasma evolution in time and in space and plasma anisotropy through polarization spectroscopy, and to diagnose high-energetic electron beams and magnetic fields in HED plasmas.
