Event services and reservations
The Joe Crowley Student Union has a variety of meeting and event spaces available for request by recognized student organizations and campus groups. Hosting your event in the Joe provides you with the opportunity to utilize a variety of services offered to you through the Joe Crowley Student Union Administration Offices. See below for information to help guide you in planning your event.
Reservations can be made through our online VEMS Reservation system or by calling our Event Management office at (775) 784-6505. We offer a variety of spaces such as our Glick Ballrooms, theatre, small and large group meeting rooms and more! Please note, we have several policies and procedures to follow when reserving space in the Joe.

Co-sponsor with the Joe
The Joe Crowley Student Union provides opportunities for student groups, campus departments, and community groups to co-sponsor their events with the JCSU. Co-sponsorship has the potential to include custom designs for marketing materials, cost of event staffing, and assistance in planning your event.
Late night incentive
If you are a university student group or organization and your event ends after midnight (12:00 a.m.), you may qualify for the late night incentive. The Joe Crowley Student Union will subsidize 100% of student union special event staff charges, meaning the staffing is completely free!
The Joe offers marketing support to sponsors with events in the Joe, especially events that are co-sponsored. To get more information and details if your event qualifies, check out our JCSU marketing webpage.
Facility Usage Guidelines
The Joe Crowley Student Union (JCSU) is primarily a student facility. Designated event and meeting spaces are available for use by reservation to University groups (recognized student organizations and University departments) and outside groups. The Facility Usage Guidelines are intended to outline standard expectations and procedures for use of the Joe Crowley Student Union. These procedures are intended to facilitate the fair allocation and efficient use of the Student Union facilities. Additional procedures for specific events may also apply.
