Summary

Maile Callorina is the Honors Academic Advisor of Student Actualization and Engagement at the Honors College. She supports incoming honors students and helps them with the transition between high school to college. Maile first became involved with the Honors College as an Educational Leadership Intern, where she collaborated with IB programme students and assisted in developing a pipeline to expose high school
students to undergraduate experiences. Maile then served as the Coordinator of Special Curricular Programs. In this role, she managed cross-functional projects—such as DC Scholars, a developing Honors
College initiative—and facilitated Honors Lab, an experiential learning course that teaches students practical life skills. Outside of the Honors College, Maile enjoys crafty hobbies, snowboarding, and collecting trading cards.
