Dr. Silver Rodis holds a terminal degree in Educational Leadership, and is fascinated by the impact of mentoring and coaching as a component of professional development. She currently serves as an Academic Advisor at The Honors College. In this capacity, Dr. Silver Rodis is accountable for advising students and oversees cocurricular experiences. She is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno’s College of Education and Human Development. Additionally, she completed both her Master of Arts and Bachelor’s degrees in journalism and media studies from the University of Nevada, Reno. Her research interests include mentoring, student access and early-career faculty. She has contributed to The Chronical of Mentoring & Coaching, and has presented at the Association for the Study of Higher Education Conference and the University of New Mexico Mentoring Institute Conference.
