Second Year Scholarships
There are very limited funds available. Depending on funds availability, the University makes scholarship awards to second-year students who have earned at least a 3.5 cumulative University of Nevada, Reno GPA. Scholarship amounts may vary from year-to-year and by GPA.
Scholarship eligibility after the first-year
To be eligible for any University of Nevada, Reno scholarships after the first year, students must complete the annual Undergraduate Scholarship Application in MyNEVADA Supplemental Forms. The Undergraduate Scholarship Application is available starting October 1 of the prior calendar year, and is due February 15 in the calendar year that school begins.
For example, the scholarship application for the 2021-22 school year becomes available October 1, 2020 and is due February 15, 2021. Complete the FAFSA annually (or the Institutional Methodology for FAFSA-ineligible students) to be considered for scholarships that require need.
