Nuclear Packaging Graduate Program Courses

This page lists all courses offered by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Packaging University and the University of Nevada, Reno Nuclear Packaging Graduate Program (NPGP) that count toward the Graduate Certificate in Nuclear Packaging (GCNP) and the Graduate Certificate in Transportation Security and Safeguards (GCTSS).  For each class, this page indicates the course number/name, host institution, number of units and if the course is required for one of the certificates.

Packaging University courses

This list breaks the 21 one- and two-unit Packaging University courses into seven topic areas (some courses could logically be in multiple areas). These courses are taught in-person by subject matter experts at the DOE national laboratories: Argonne (ANL), Los Alamos (LANL), Lawrence Livermore (LLNL), Oak Ridge (ORNL), Pacific Northwest (PNNL), Sandia (SNL) and Savannah River (SRNL), or at other authorized locations. The Packaging University course schedule provides a schedule and national laboratory enrollment/fee information for upcoming classes.
