Applying for housing is your first step to becoming part of the Wolf Pack family. Living on campus puts you close to classes, dining and the top college atmosphere in the country.

How to apply for on-campus housing

Apply early to secure your top residence hall preferences, get priority access to room selection and match with the roommates you want. The process is quick, easy, and entirely online. Just log in, choose your housing options and submit your application before the priority deadline of February 15, 2026.

STEP 1

Submit housing application

Apply early to secure your space. Living on campus is one of the best ways to experience the Wolf Pack community.

  • Application opens November 12 at 10 a.m.
  • Log in to the housing portal using your NetID (or NSHE ID) and password.
  • Complete your profile and submit housing, roommate and meal plan preferences
  • Pay the application fee when prompted.
  • Receive your confirmation email once your application is submitted.

Tip: Apply by the priority deadline — February 15, 2026

STEP 2

Select your room

Once applications close, eligible students will receive an assigned window to choose their room online.

  • Selection windows — March 10-June 30, 2026
  • Check your University email for your room selection time.
  • Log in to the housing portal when your window opens.
  • Browse available halls and room types in real time.
  • Select your room and confirm your choice.

Tip: Log-in right at your assigned time — popular halls fill quickly!

STEP 3

Find/select roommates

Want to live with friends or meet new ones? Use roommate to search by shared interests and study habits.

  • Roommate portal opens February 16, 2026
  • Complete your roommate profile with your preferences.
  • Search for roommates or create/join a roommate group.
  • Confirm your group and roommate selections.
  • No roommate? We’ll match you automatically based on your profile.

Living Learning Communities

Join a Living Learning Community (LLC) to connect with students who share your academic major and interests. LLCs are located in select halls and offer special events, study support and faculty involvement.

After your housing application is submitted, you’ll receive a selection time by email based upon the date of your completed application.

We know finding the right roommate matters.

In the housing portal, you can connect with friends, search for compatible roommates or be matched automatically based on your profile preferences. Roommate selection happens after your housing application is complete, so make sure you submit your housing application as early as possible the best residence hall availability and placement.

Important information about roommate selections

Creating or joining a roommate group does not guarantee a specific hall or room. Assignments are based on availability and application completion dates. Roommate changes or group adjustments can only be made during the designated update period. For the best chance at being placed together, ensure all group members complete their housing applications and preferences before the priority deadline (February 15, 2026).
