Summary
I received my B.S. in Environment and Society with a concentration in Geology from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2020. After almost two years working in communications for Alaska Conservation Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting Alaska's land and people, I knew I wanted to go back to school to become better equipped to tackle the unique challenges of a changing climate. Today I'm working with Dr. Stephanie McAfee as a research assistant for the Nevada State Climate Office and developing my thesis focused on climate-driven changes to berry-producing subsistence plants in Alaska.
