Geography Graduate Student Club

The goal of the Geography Graduate Student Club is to bring together students from the Department of Geography’s graduate programs and students outside of the department interested in geography and the club’s activities.

Goals

  • Provide opportunities for graduate students and members of the community to meet, share, and work together both for career development and community and environmental improvement.
  • Participate in public services that improve the quality of the environment and the community at multiple scales.
  • Coordinate outdoor activities that promote understanding of the environment and how we fit within it.

Meetings

The club meets roughly every two weeks for meetings, along with regular social activities, volunteer opportunities, career development talks and study groups.
