Ph.D. in Hydrology She/her/hers

Summary

I am a Ph.D. student in Hydrology with a Master’s degree in Glaciology, specializing in glacio-hydrological modeling and cryosphere–climate interactions. My research focuses on glacier dynamics, hydrological processes, and water resource management in high mountain regions affected by climate change. My long-term goal is to advance cryosphere and water research to strengthen climate resilience and sustainable development in glacier-fed basins.

Research interests

  • Glacio-hydrological modeling and water resource management
  • Cryosphere–climate interactions in high mountain Asia
  • Hydrological processes in glacier-fed river basins
  • Disaster risk reduction and climate resilience in mountain communities

Education

  • M.S. in Glaciology, Kathmandu University, 2016
  • B.S. (Honors) in Geology, Karakoram International University, 2014
