Governance

The University of Nevada, Reno's Fraternity & Sorority Community is comprised of 25 organizations of inter/national fraternities and sororities. These organizations are governed by student-led boards called councils. At the University of Nevada, Reno, we have three different councils that provide governance, accountability, educational opportunities, and structure for our fraternities and sororities: the Interfraternity Council (IFC), the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) and the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC).

Interfraternity Council

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the governing body and policy-making organization of the University of Nevada fraternity community.

Multicultural Greek Council

The Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) is the governing body and policy-making organization for the University of Nevada, Reno multicultural Greek community.

National Panhellenic Conference

The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) is the governing body and policy-making organization of the University of Nevada, Reno sorority community.
