About Gareth Ferneyhough

Music was instrumental in Gareth’s life. At age 13, he was presented with the opportunity to participate in the Lake Tahoe Music Camp - an experience that would solidify his love for music. While majoring in computer science, Gareth continued to pursue his musical craft playing the French horn in the university orchestra. His passion for music thrived while living in Seattle where Gareth's involvement with different community orchestras filled him with joy. Gareth’s friends and family established the Gareth Ferneyhough Lake Tahoe Music Camp Memorial Endowment to honor his memory and provide others with the opportunity to pursue their love of music at Lake Tahoe Music Camp.
