Registration, Lessons and Payment

Registration is open

Overnight campers: Middle School Session (Completing 6th - 8th Grades*) registration fee is $365 per camper and the High School Session (Completing 9th -12th Grades) is $445 per camper.

Day-only campers: We are offering a Day-Only Camper Program for those families who want their child to experience music camp but do not feel comfortable with them spending the night. Day-Only Campers will need to arrive between 8:15-8:45 a.m. (during breakfast) each day and can be picked up at 6:30-7:00 p.m. (after dinner) or 9:15-9:45 p.m. (after our evening activity). Middle School Session Day-Only Campers (Completing 6th - 8th Grades*) registration fee is $350 per camper and the High School Session Day-Only Campers (Completing 9th -12th Grades) is $425 per camper. These prices include all camp offerings except lodging.

All campers: Payment is due at the time of registration. Third party scholarship payments must be received by the camp office by May 30. Please be sure that your scholarship donor sends payment by this deadline. Camp registration includes a $30 non-refundable application fee. If camp is canceled due to circumstances outside of our control, registered families will be notified as soon as possible and full refunds, including the application fee, will be issued.

Up to two optional private lessons are available for $30 each, these can be purchased online at the time of registration or separately. The last day to order lessons is May 31.

* Students completing 6th grade may participate with approval from the Camp Director.

Registration is a three-step process:

Step 1 – online registration

Complete your registration online through the University of Nevada, Reno Marketplace.

We will notify you by email when we are ready for you to complete the next two steps. Documents are still being finalized.

Step 2– policies and handbook review

Once finalized and made available, Camper and Parent/Legal Guardian are required to read the 2021 COVID-19 Safety and Mitigation Policies and the Camp Handbook. These policies are still being finalized. Please review some of our proposed COVID-19 safety and mitigation policies.

Step 3– forms and agreements

Camp agreements and forms are being finalized. Registered campers will receive an email notification when available. Once you receive our email notification with finalized forms, complete, print, sign and submit the following forms to the Lake Tahoe Music Camp office within 10 business days.

  1. Camper and Parent or Legal Guardian Agreement
  2. Health Form
  3. Waiver, Release and Indemnification Agreement

Forms are due within 10 business days after receiving our email notification. These required forms must be mailed or faxed to our Camp Office. Please note: If these forms have not been received within 10 business days after receiving email notification, your registration will be canceled and your money will be refunded, except for the $30 non-refundable application fee.
