Summary

Anna Kalminskaia has been teaching Spanish at the University of Nevada, Reno since 2002. In 2016, she was awarded the University of Nevada, Reno, Senior Scholar Mentor Award. She received a Faculty International Development Award and an International Activities Grant from the University of Nevada, Reno, a Regents Scholarship and Visiting Fellowship from the University of California and an Exchange Student Award from Bradford University, United Kingdom. Her professional interests include second-language acquisition and linguistics, computer-assisted instruction, Hispanic cultural studies and literary translation. She teaches first through third-year language, composition, conversation and culture courses, and serves as an undergraduate academic advisor in Spanish.
