Stephen C. Eubanks serves as the director of athletic bands at the University of Nevada, Reno. In addition, Eubanks is a music education lecturer.

He received his Ph.D. in learning, teaching and curriculum in music education from the University of Missouri, his master's in curriculum and instruction from the University of Missouri and his bachelor of science in music education from Missouri Southern State College.

Eubanks is a retired public school teacher with more than 30 years of teaching experience in the Missouri public schools, including three years in Alton, two years in Carthage, 13 years as assistant director of bands and 12 years as director of bands and music department chairman in Jefferson City, MO.

During his career at Jefferson City High School as assistant director and director of bands, the Marching 'Jay' Band performed in the Tournament of Roses Parade, the Alamo Bowl, the Fiesta Bowl, the Freedom Bowl, had two appearances at the Citrus Bowl and Orange Bowl Parades respectively and in his retirement year, performed at the Gator Bowl Parade. Under his leadership, the Jefferson City High School music department was a consistent Sweepstakes winner with the Heritage Festivals organization. During his 12 years as director of bands at Jefferson City High School, Eubanks' symphonic band was selected to perform for the Missouri Music Educators Association on three separate occasions.

Eubanks has served as an adjudicator for the Missouri State High School Activities Association, as well as numerous state marching festivals. He holds professional memberships in the Missouri Music Educators Association, the Missouri Bandmasters Association, the Nevada Music Educators Association, the National Association for Music Education, Phi Beta Mu and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
