Bachelor of Music in Music Education

This professional degree is designed for students pursuing teaching careers in K-12 schools. Students enrolled in this program gain skills and knowledge in music and performance and are equipped to serve as effective teachers across multiple disciplines. The coursework is taught by experienced practitioners and an emphasis is placed on personal attention and regular immersion in K-12 schools. Minor in Music

This program provides opportunities for students in majors from other disciplines to develop an appreciation for diverse music genres, to be exposed to music theory and history, and to experience solo and ensemble performance. The Music Minor track explores the fundamentals of music while the Music Industry Minor track explores the fundamentals of sound recording techniques within our world-class recording facilities. Areas of emphasis:
