2024 Workshop: Matrices and Operators

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics will be hosting a conference from Saturday, June 14-17, 2024.

What is the goal of this conference?

The purpose of the workshop is to promote research and collaboration among researchers with an interest in matrix theory, operator theory and related topics. Participants are encouraged to present their latest findings and discoveries and share their experiences and research problems, while fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and mutual learning. Through dialogue and knowledge exchange, the workshop aims to enhance the collective growth and development of the research community involved in matrix theory, operator theory and related fields.

Dates

This two-day conference will take place in mid-June of 2024. The conference banquet will be held Saturday, June 15 at 6 p.m.

Friday, June 14 to Monday, June 17, 2024

Venue

The conference will take place in the Davidson Math and Science Center (DMSC) at the University of Nevada, Reno.

  • Each attendee of the conference will be responsible for reserving their own lodging.
