Summary

Taissa earned her B.S. in Psychology in May of 2017. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Cognitive Brain Sciences. Taissa’s research focuses on gaining a better understanding of our visual system.

Education

Taissa started her higher education in Reno at Truckee Meadows Community College and finished her Bachelor’s in Psychology with an emphasis in Research in May 2017 from the University of Nevada, Reno. As an undergraduate, Taissa was head of PSI CHI, an International Honor Society in Psychology, as well as a research assistant for Gideon Caplovitz, Ph.D. and Lars Strother, Ph.D. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctorate Degree in the Cognitive Brain Sciences program at the University under the direction of Gideon Caplovitz, Ph.D. Taissa’s research interests are based on gaining a better understanding of our visual system.
