Summary

I am a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno, where I am currently conducting research in the Robotics Lab under the guidance of Professor David Feil-Seifer. Before joining the University, I developed an Android application named “Blood Connect” in my home country, Nepal. This application facilitated fresh human blood to patients in need through peer to peer connection and through the help of blood volunteers. In collaboration with the Nepal Red Cross Society, we are successful in saving the lives of over 250 patients. Additionally, during the Covid pandemic, I collaborated with friends to create the largest centralized ambulance database in Nepal. This was made accessible through another Android application, “Hello Ambulance.” My goal is to contribute to society through technological innovations, particularly in the healthcare sector. In my leisure time, I enjoy listening to podcasts, reading non-fiction and staying informed about the latest technological trends, especially those related to healthcare.
