Summary

Utilizing agent-based-modeling to conduct range-wide simulation of Mojave Desert Tortoise populations to better understand how climate change, development, and varying survival across life-stages can affect population viability. Investigating the effect of fluctuations in Mojave prey populations and drought on the tendency for a preeminent subsidized predator to exhibit prey switching behavior.
