Spanish (Language and Society Specialization), B.A.
Undergraduate students looking to advance their international relations skills while obtaining a broad understanding of business and economics in a foreign country, should consider the Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. The Spanish major with an emphasis in language and society offered through the World Languages and Literatures Department within the College of Liberal Arts is an invaluable option to further undergraduate education with rich cultural experiences. The B.A. in Spanish provides students with a number of Spanish language skills including linguistic understanding, critical thinking skills, reading, writing and listening proficiency.
To complete the Spanish major, 30 credits are required, all of which must be 300 level or above. In addition, at least 12 credits must be completed on the University of Nevada, Reno campus.
