Microbiology and Immunology
Microbiology and immunology (MI) provides in-depth studies at the molecular and cellular levels on the bacterial, viral, fungal and protozoan pathogens of humans, including their molecular structures, life cycles and mechanisms of pathogenesis.
Students also receive an in-depth understanding of the mammalian immune system and its role in fighting infections and cancer as well as its role in autoimmune diseases.
