Why study secondary education and community health sciences at the University of Nevada, Reno?
Students will have direct access to well-connected faculty in the health industry. Community health sciences majors often complete research and internships in local health fields including at the Washoe County Health District, Renown Health and the Center for Disease Control.
Through a curriculum both varied and inter-related subjects such as bioethics, spirituality, kinesiology and health policy, encourage our community health sciences majors to explore health from multiple perspectives: emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, as well as physical.
