Summary

Enid Jennings is a senior lecturer who teaches courses in social and behavioral health, technical writing, program planning and health communications. She brings practical experience to the classroom, drawing from a career in health education and program coordination focused on public health issues such as sexual health, nutrition, physical activity, mental health, interpersonal violence, injury, communicable disease and tobacco prevention. She has provided education and leadership to local, statewide and regional initiatives.

She currently serves as co-chair of the Northern Nevada Food Council, a collaborative group working to build a resilient, equitable and empowered local food system in Northern Nevada. She is passionate about public health and health care and strives to inspire a love for the field among her students.
