Summary

Rachel Kraysovic’s research interests span social and behavioral health, with foundations in epidemiology, environmental health and population health research. Her previous research has examined environmental exposures and human health, particularly cyanotoxin exposure associated with harmful algal blooms and recreational water environments. She has also contributed to patient experience and population-level cancer research through hospital-based analytics and program evaluation. Her doctoral research interests focus on substance use, harm reduction and prevention, with an emphasis on applying social and behavioral approaches to understand how environmental and social factors influence health behaviors and population health outcomes among people who use drugs.
