Summary
Lesley Howard's research focuses on how various social factors can impact health across the lifespan. Specific areas of interest include mental health outcomes, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), positive childhood experiences (PCEs) and health disparities among understudied populations (e.g., individuals who interact with the criminal legal system). Howard is currently the lead coordinator of Nevada's Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) and works on survey development/implementation in addition to producing state-level reports using YRBS data.
