Prior to joining the University of Nevada, Reno, Adel Mburia-Mwalili worked as a Biostatistician in the Office of Public Health Informatics and Epidemiology, Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health. In addition, Mburia-Mwalili has international research and teaching experience having taught at Egerton University, Njoro, Kenya and malaria and intestinal helminths research in Kenya funded by the World Health Organization.
