Who is sponsoring this study?

This survey is a joint effort between the State Bar of Nevada, the Grant Sawyer Center for Justice Studies (GSCJS), and the Nevada Center for Surveys, Evaluation, and Statistics (CSES) at the University of Nevada, Reno.

What is this survey about?

The goal of this survey is to gain a better understanding of the expansion of DEIA access and services within law firm culture. The specific goals of the survey include: identifying member barriers, characteristics, firm climate and utilization of DEI services within law firms; identifying wellness programs and perceptions of access to DEIA services; and identifying sociodemographic characteristics of members. This information will be helpful in gaining more knowledge about the DEIA environment and access for attorneys.

You were chosen to complete the survey because you are a licensed Nevada attorney. Your email was provided from your State Bar member record.

How does this benefit me?

By completing the survey, your answers will help improve DEIA access and services provided by the State Bar of Nevada. Your participation in the survey is completely voluntary and will have no impact on your relationship with the State Bar of Nevada or your own law firm.

How do I take part in this survey?

This survey will take about 15-20 minutes to complete. An orientation email will be sent to you informing you to be on the lookout for the email with the survey link.

How will you keep my information secure?

We are committed to protecting your privacy and confidentiality. All responses will be directly sent to the UNR research team before being sent to the State Bar of Nevada. All responses will be reported to the State Bar in aggregate form, so individual scores will not be identified.
