Plan your visit to the Planetarium

Designated visitor parking for Planetarium guests is located on the third floor of the West Stadium Parking Complex, across from the Planetarium entrance. Visit the Planetarium front desk to pick up your free parking permit when parking in these spots.

In the case that the designated spaces are unavailable, visitors may park on the top level of the West Stadium Parking Complex and purchase a daily permit. Daily permit dispensers are located on the top floor near the elevator, and these machines take cash and debit or credit cards. The daily permit price is $6 until 3:30 p.m. After 3:30 p.m., the daily permit price drops to $4.

Parking permits are required Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Parking is free on Saturdays.

The Fleischmann Planetarium is served by Citifare bus lines, with stops throughout Reno and Sparks. If you are interested in using this form of public transportation, take a look at the RTC public transportation website to plan your visit accordingly.

Field trip attendees may be dropped off by bus at the roundabout behind the Planetarium for quick and easy access to the facility. Parking in this area is not permitted.

All other Planetarium visitors may be dropped off on the third floor of the West Stadium Parking Complex near the Planetarium entrance.
