Summary
Elizabeth "Libby" Krayk began her career in oncology nursing in 2008 and quickly became nationally certified as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) in 2009. She established the first Vascular Access Team in her health care system, and her work earned national recognition. She received the Oncology Nursing Society's Pearl Moore Making a Difference Frontline Care Award in 2012.
Krayk has served as a bedside nurse, nurse educator, preceptor, mentor and nurse practitioner in oncology, palliative care and hospice. She also has served as president of the Orvis School of Nursing Alumni Association for many years. Under her leadership, the association received a University of Nevada, Reno Alumni Service Award in 2020. In 2025, she was honored with the Orvis School of Nursing Distinguished Alumna Award.
