Summary
Dr. Mosqueda began her nursing career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Barton Hospital in 2005. After graduating from the Orvis School of Nursing in 2009, she discovered a passion for trauma and emergency nursing. In 2016, she began pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Acute Care. While completing her doctorate, she started her career as a flight nurse with a local helicopter service in 2017. Dr. Mosqueda was also a member of the first cohort in the Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Nevada, Reno, completing the program in summer 2022. She worked in trauma and general surgery until 2025, when she transitioned to the urgent care setting.
