Summary
Roger Green, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-C, FAANP has nearly three decades of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner and more than 15 years of practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He currently provides care on the Navajo Nation in Arizona several days each month and has previously owned and operated a private practice in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Throughout his career, Dr. Green has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including emergency medicine, primary care, college health and retail health clinics. He also served as Vice President for a major grocery store retail health clinic organization, helping to advance innovative models of healthcare delivery.
A recognized leader and advocate for the nurse practitioner profession, Dr. Green was the founding president of the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network and has been featured in numerous publications for his political activism on behalf of nurse practitioners across the United States. His advocacy efforts have focused on expanding access to care and removing barriers to practice for nurse practitioners nationwide. Since 2004, he has been a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP), an honor recognizing his outstanding contributions to the profession.
