Summary
Dr. Ozuna is the track leader and advisor for the pediatric acute care nurse practitioner program. Dr. Ozuna is a certified pediatric acute care nurse practitioner. She obtained her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Arizona, a post-master’s certificate as a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt University and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Vanderbilt University. She has been a nurse and a nurse practitioner in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit for the past 11 years. She maintains a clinical practice providing care in the pediatric cardiovascular intensive care unit in Arizona. She is passionate about advanced practice nursing, pediatrics, and burnout and mindfulness and is involved in both local and national advanced practice organizations.
