Summary
Heather Reardon, DNP, RN, is nursing faculty at the University of Nevada, Reno, Orvis School of Nursing, where she teaches across undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. She brings more than 15 years of experience in higher education and a diverse background in nursing education, clinical practice and leadership.
Dr. Reardon maintains active clinical practice in perinatal nursing, with extensive experience in maternal and newborn care. Her work focuses on preparing the next generation of nurses through innovative nursing education, strengthening pathways into the nursing profession and advancing clinical judgment, competency and safe patient care.
Outside of nursing, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the Reno-Tahoe area, coaching and supporting youth sports and cheering on the Wolf Pack. Go Pack!
