Summary
Professor Amy Khan, MSN, R.N., serves as Lecturer II at the Orvis School of Nursing. She is dedicated to preparing future nurses for our community and beyond. She has 34 years of clinical experience in acute care, emergency nursing and intensive care nursing. She has worked in Central California, rural California and Nevada. Her diverse background provides a strong foundation for her teaching didactic and clinical classes. She practices active learning in her didactic classes and believes that students retain more information when using these techniques. She is also an advisor to the Orvis School of Nursing Association.
