Leadership programs

As part of the Multicultural Center’s mission to empower students to be innovative colleagues in creating a better-integrated community at the University and beyond, we have developed leadership opportunities to support students on their journey to be strong leaders.

Empowered Leaders

The Empowered Leaders program consists of three branches of paid student leaders in our department: Multicultural Community Educators, Kind Pack Mentors, and Storytelling Leaders. Each of these leadership roles provides support not only to the department but also to the campus community. Visit the Empowered Leaders page to learn more about each specific leadership role.

Kind Pack Mentorship Program

The Kind Pack Mentorship Program is a student-run program that focuses on supporting the holistic well-being of students on campus. Visit our Kind Pack Mentorship page to learn more.

Rising Leaders

This year we are piloting the Rising Leaders program, which pairs student leaders with an upper administrator or other professional leaders. Student participants have the opportunity to meet with and shadow their professional leaders to learn more about their work and build potential network opportunities.
