Prim Library was constructed and open in 2004, it provides approximately 32,000 square feet. The library was given its name after Dr. Wayne Prim. The structure has three floors and two mezzanines and contains classrooms, offices, meeting rooms, exhibit space, and the Rodney & Evelyn Smallwood Campus Store. 

Located within Prim Library, the Poetry Center is made possible through a grant awarded by the Nevada State Library and Archives and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
